Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years forklift experience in warehouse, dock, shipping, or manufacturing.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Read shipping docs, packing slips and labels.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Preferred forklift certification.
• Familiarity with inventory systems/ERP software.
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials and pallets.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Move products between production, staging, storage, and shipping areas.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities vs packing slips/POs.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with packaging, labeling and docs.
• Coordinate with carriers and drivers at the loading dock.
• Ensure shipments meet customer and company specs.
• Organize inventory and maintain clean storage areas.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
