Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Distribution Associate – Material Handler to shuttle materials between facilities, load/unload with forklift or pallet jack, and perform inventory counts at offsite warehouses. You will coordinate pickups, stage FG inventory, and ensure accurate inventory records using a scan gun or computer.

The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and basic computer skills, with DEI commitments and data protection policies in place.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be in good physical condition.
• Excellent forklift driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company truck to shuttle material between facilities.
• Load and unload products using pallet jack or forklift.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories at offsite warehouses.
• Coordinate with truck drivers for scheduled pickups at offsite warehouses.
• Pull and stage finished goods inventory at cut lines.
• Unload and store incoming reels and inventory from suppliers and facilities.
• Process inventory transactions using a scan gun or computer.
• Maintain housekeeping and dispose of scrap as required.
