Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a forklift/operator to move and position materials in a production setting. The role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes to load, unload, and transport materials across the plant, supporting machine operators and welders as needed.

The ideal candidate will have forklift or heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Forklift driving or crane/heavy equipment experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, overhead cranes, and other equipment to move, locate, stock, and count materials per production standards.
• Assist operators and other personnel in loading/unloading and transporting materials across the facility.
• Safely move steel plates and poles using heavy equipment.
• Ensure stock is staged for production and moved to appropriate areas.
• Comply with safety standards and PPE requirements; perform routine safety inspections.
