Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be proficient and OSHA qualified to operate a forklift.
• Knowledge of departmental paperwork (sales orders, bills of lading, production schedules).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (5:45am–6:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Inspects and operates powered lift on a daily basis.
• Assembles & stages customer orders by pulling the proper product from inventory.
• Follows FIFO on all shipping, WIP, and FG processes.
• Assists with transferring Finished Goods and/or Raw Material to/from outside warehousing.
• Assists with training of department personnel.
• Completes required paperwork (sales orders, bills of lading, loading checklist, etc.).
• Supports production and extrusion departments to ensure efficiency.
• Maintains organization of Finished Goods and WIP.
• Participates in plant safety/housekeeping activities.
• Works on a 2-2-3 rotation, 12-hour nights schedule.
