Job summary

Metalex, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/ forklift operator to move materials and finished goods within and between departments, and onto trucks. The role requires operating a forklift, picking orders, packaging per customer requirements, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Level 1/2 duties include coordinating inbound/outbound material in ERP, ensuring accurate part identification, and training staff. Valid forklift certification and experience with shipping procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication in English.
• Certified Forklift Driver (Sit down / Stand up).
• Knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Experience in skidding and banding material; ability to calculate shipment weights.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and finished goods between departments and onto trucks.
• Pick orders for shipping from Sales Orders and package per customer requirements.
• Inspect forklift bi-weekly and adhere to safety procedures.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound material in ERP and label items.
• Train other employees and maintain area housekeeping.
