Job summary

Nucor Corporation in Jackson, WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for moving parts and materials throughout the warehouse and delivering to inventory locations, using equipment such as forklifts.

You will assist receiving and production with material movement, manage loading/unloading, and ensure accurate inventory locations and counts. Safety and daily equipment checks are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Forklift certification recommended and pallet jack forklift experience required.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory system preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Rytec parts is helpful.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Ability to lift 50 lb frequently and 100 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist movement and staging of material in receiving and production areas.
• Review daily orders and supply materials from inventory.
• Load/unload materials at docks, trucks, storage, and manufacturing areas.
• Identify and label materials with order numbers and dimensions; track locations.
• Organize inventory to maximize space and ensure critical items are accessible.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and document results.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.
• Assist with cycle counts and safety/compliance checks.
• Support quality assurance checks of parts and materials.
