Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician who will monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all facility infrastructure and equipment.

You will obtain forklift and elevated platform certification and work 12:30PM to 9:00PM, with a strong emphasis on safety and speed to meet customer demands. Responsibilities include implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, managing equipment procurement, and overseeing on-site contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and safety-certified equipment.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work from heights.
• Scheduled shift 12:30PM–9:00PM.
• Strong focus on safety and urgency in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility infrastructure and equipment.
• Establish and follow preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee procurement of new equipment or spare parts as needed.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Supervise on-site contractors and maintain documentation systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, cost and productivity.
