Job summary

The Loader position at C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is a freezer/warehouse role requiring safe operation of forklift and pallet jack to load pallets into trailers. You will inspect trailers, wrap pallets, and use RF devices to verify loading, while keeping work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

Shift is 3rd Shift; travel no. The environment includes freezer and perishable warehouse conditions, with emphasis on safety and quality of loading operations.

Qualifications

• Certified forklift and pallet jack operator required.
• Must demonstrate reliability, safety, and productivity in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate materials handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
• Use RF handhelds and/or voice devices to verify loading.
• Wrap pallets and apply stretch wrap.
• Operate battery changing hoist.
• Keep work area clean.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
