Job summary

East Coast Metal Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Delivery/Warehouse Associate in Raleigh, NC. You will represent the company, assist counter sales, and deliver orders while ensuring accuracy and safety.

A clean driving record, DOT physical, and forklift certification are required, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work. You will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; related experience acceptable.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested.
• Must be 21+; valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Represent East Coast Metal Distributors by wearing a clean, company uniform.
• Deliver items, greet customers, verify items, and help unload trucks.
• Notify Warehouse Manager of discrepancies before leaving shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe delivery vehicle and report any injuries or hazards.
• Assist counter sales and pick items for orders; greet customers on arrival.
• Secure, stage and ship orders via delivery vehicles; document discrepancies.
• Unload and document inbound inventory; update warehouse inventory records.
• Become proficient and certified in Fork Truck Safety and Operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
