Job summary

LCI seeks a Warehouse team member to assemble and deliver customer orders accurately and on time, supporting the mission to employ the blind and visually impaired. The role covers receiving, packing, stock verification, and shipping, with emphasis on accuracy and quality control.

The position runs Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (schedule may vary). Forklift operation is required; prior warehouse experience in military or commercial settings is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate with two years relevant training.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Forklift experience is required; military or commercial warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receipting for material or moving material to retail floor and warehouse.
• Pack and Inspect Orders; verify stock, produce Packing Slip, correct errors, produce MSDS sheets, sign off on Quality Review, and move order to shipping station.
• Conduct regular product warehouse inventories.
• Participate in area maintenance (cleaning floors, work tables, stations, distribution office, repack and receiving areas).
• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring daily charging.
