Job summary

LCI, a mission-driven employer for the blind and visually impaired, is seeking a Warehouse, Delivery Driver to assemble and deliver customer orders at Ft. Drum.

You will work onsite in a fast-paced warehouse environment and communicate directly with customers and base staff to ensure accurate deliveries. The role emphasizes dependable problem-solving, safe driving, and accurate order fulfillment, with opportunities to contribute to store maintenance and inventory processes during off-delivery

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years relevant training, preferred. CDL may be required depending on location.
• Must pass pre-employment motor vehicle background check and have vehicle licenses.
• Forklift / Warehouse experience in military or commercial environment is required

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with customers, base supply managers and other employees.
• Assemble orders received by fax, email or telephone.
• Pull material in a timely and accurate fashion and deliver within the scheduled timeframe.
• Deliver merchandise to the prescribed delivery location with signature confirmation.
• Be involved in warehouse operations including receipting material or moving to the retail floor.
• Participate in store maintenance and periodic inventories during non-store hours.
• Maintain warehouse/store cleanliness and complete checkout operations.
• Stock shelves and support general store operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

To assemble and deliver customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Ft. Drum - Onsite

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct Communication with Customers, Base Supply Managers and other Employees.
• Responsible for assembling orders received by fax, email or telephone.
• Pull material in a timely and accurate fashion and deliver within the scheduled timeframe.
• Will deliver merchandise to the prescribed delivery location, at which point the recipient will inventory it with a signature indicating its accuracy or shortages.
• Will be involved in warehouse operations that include receipting material or moving material to the retail floor and the warehouse.
• Involved in warehouse operations when no deliveries are scheduled
• Warehouse/store cleanliness
• Checkout operations
• Shelf stocking
• Participate in store maintenance including periodic floor cleanup, stripping, waxing, and painting which is normally accomplished during non-store open hours
• Participate in periodic store inventories (for all local areas) which are normally accomplished during non-store open hours
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years relevant training, preferred. A Commercial Drivers License maybe required depending on the hiring location. Must pass pre-employment motor vehicle background check and have all applicable motor vehicle licenses. Forklift / Warehouse experience in the military or commercial environment is required
