Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a warehouse associate on 1st shift (6 am–3 pm) in Salt Lake City. Responsibilities include operating lift trucks, loading orders, and handling banding/wrapping machinery to prepare shipments.

Candidates must meet physical requirements, have at least 2 years in a warehouse role, and be able to obtain forklift certification. A Safe, dependable worker can contribute to a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 80–100 lbs several times a shift.
• Must be able to lift by hand carpet padding weighing 80–100 lbs from floor to above shoulder height.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/40.
• Will be required to climb on and off a lift truck numerous times a shift.
• Must be able to operate lift truck controls.
• At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse position.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk lift truck certification test.
• Ability to operate banding and wrapping machines in the assigned facility.
• Experience with cut tables helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment and lift trucks within the facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within the facility.
• Operate Glad Hand Locks to lock trailers.
• Pull and load orders using a lift truck.
• May wrap at the Cut Table and handle various order types.
• Handle Load/Unload tasks and load/unload trucks regularly.
