Job summary

Wabtec in the United States is seeking a General Laborer to support assembly, disassembly and packaging in a manufacturing setting. You will perform safe operations, handle paperwork, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while following quality processes.

This role requires reading production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, and basic math. You must be able to lift heavy items, work rotating shifts, and communicate clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow all quality process/work instructions.
• Must obey all safety rules and wear all proper Personal Protection Equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Requires repeated movements and tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Performs the safe operations.
• Responsible and accountable for processing all paperwork pertaining to the Assembly/Disassembly and packaging.
• Accountable for maintaining housekeeping standards in the area.
• Maintains production and quality standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
