Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler for the day shift to support shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This role requires lifting heavy items, operating a forklift, and maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System.

Starting pay is $21.09 per hour with semi-annual performance-based increases. The position entails ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and documentation, keeping work areas clean, replenishing stock, and potentially driving duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload and direct shipment movements from shipping/receiving areas.
• Verify and record shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
• Prepare packing slips, labels, bills of lading, and related documents.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and assist with order picking as needed.
• Operates forklift and may perform driving duties.
• Works after hours as needed.
