Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools and forklifts.
• Willingness to become certified as a Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) operator.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Red Prairie WMS and RF scanners to track inventory and materials.
• Maintain forklift certification and operate PITs to move products in the DC.
• Load/unload trailers using PITs and by hand loading.
• Deliver and stage materials for manufacturing and ensure correct area.
• Post weights, shipping charges, and prepare goods for shipment with proper documentation.
• Re-verify material weights and quantities for shipment.
• Stock and distribute materials to keep manufacturing lines stocked.
• Notify appropriate personnel of inventory discrepancies.
• Use ERP system for inventory transactions and record-keeping.
• Use Yield Calculation Program to weight and manage waste and rework.
• Complete paperwork and discard materials properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to SOPs and cGMPs.
• Rotate through Material Handler functions as needed.
• Safely use power equipment like forklifts, hand tools, electric jacks, and cherry picker forklifts.
