Job summary

Kelly Services in Union City, CA is seeking a Material Handler / Order Picker (Forklift) to safely move materials, pick and pack orders, and keep accurate inventory. The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable attendance.

The position is full-time temporary with pay at $22 per hour, Monday to Friday, 12PM–9PM. Benefits are provided per Kelly’s standard offers and local policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
• Previous experience as a material handler, order picker, or similar warehouse role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to packing lists and order sheets.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Prepare shipments and assist with loading trucks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet productivity goals.
