Job summary

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Yard Associate to support yard operations, operate a forklift, and assist customers with locating and loading product.

Under direct supervision, you will move materials, keep inventory stocked, follow safety procedures, complete paperwork, and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience performing these or similar tasks or equivalent training/education
• OSHA Forklift Certification (training provided) and experience building frame packs
• Knowledge of lumber types and yard layout is helpful

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating and loading product
• Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork
• Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring correct placement
• Ensure inventory is well stocked at all times
• Perform routine yard cleanup
• Follow all safety procedures and practices
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
• All other duties as assigned
