Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid standup forklift certification or complete company training within the timeframe.
• Minimum 1 year of material handler experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Track and record inventory movements using computer systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases.
• Perform data entry for receipt and shipment information promptly.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Assist with loading/unloading using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and report quality issues.
• Organize storage areas and ensure proper labeling and accessibility.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits.
