Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. in Summerville, SC is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk and Maintenance Specialist. You will manage material flow, verify finished goods, and keep equipment in safe working order in a manufacturing environment.

Forklift operation and routine maintenance are key parts of daily duties. Ideal candidates bring solid inventory experience, a valid forklift license, reliable transportation, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED.
• Two year college degree in related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks material to fill work orders and MRs to support manufacturing.
• Loads and unloads trucks and receives goods into inventory.
• Operates warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintains accurate inventory records in ERP/KARDEX systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
• Ensures safety standards and clean, orderly workspace.
