Job summary

HP Hood in Winchester, VA is seeking a dedicated line operator to support daily production in a fast-paced dairy facility. You will perform equipment adjustments, monitor performance and ensure safety, quality and cleanliness in your area.

The role requires a High School diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing, and forklift certification. You will work on a team to minimize downtime, address bottlenecks, and maintain accurate records while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing.
• Solid mechanical skills.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Make minor equipment adjustments to optimize line efficiency.
• Identify line bottlenecks and take corrective action.
• Ensure work orders for process improvements are generated.
• Operate forklift, stretch wrap, and battery changer safely.
• Monitor daily reports and address pallet issues.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness in the area.
