Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Distribution in Billings, MT is hiring a Forklift and Building Materials Operator to move materials safely outdoors, load/unload, and document shipping activities. This hands-on role offers a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm schedule with occasional Saturdays based on needs, plus a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane/gas forklifts to move building materials safely.

• Accurately count, record, and document shipping/receiving activities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.
• Uphold safety standards and report hazards.
• Use basic math and computer systems to support daily operations.

What You’ll Do

• Operate propane/gas forklifts to move building materials safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trailers and rail cars
• Perform manual labor (55–65% of your day) in an outdoor environment
• Accurately count, record, and document shipping/receiving activities
• Develop in depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations
• Uphold safety standards and speak up when something doesn’t look right
• Use basic math skills and computer systems to support daily operations
