Weyerhaeuser Phoenix Distribution Center is currently seeking a Forklift Operations Associate. Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and designated leaders, this position is responsible for activities related to the movement and handling of materials in the wood products yard/warehouse.

Our entry-level pay rate starts at $20.50 per hour.

Key Functions

• Safely operate and maintain propane or gas forklifts to move products from stock lines to staging and/or cut stations.
• Safely load and unload products from trailers and rail cars.
• Ensure personal safety and the safety of others while performing job duties.
• Intervene in unsafe practices when observed.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication accurately.
• Count units, record totals, and document shipping and receiving activities accurately.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.
• Commit to quality, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

This role involves manual labor 55-65% of the time and is not an inside warehouse position.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions five days a week, including occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to work on a computer.
• Ability to work well in a team with attention to detail and accuracy.
