Job summary

Liberty Packaging in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Forklift-Baler Machine Operator I to safely produce high-quality corrugated products. You will work in a small crew, set up orders to spec, run the line efficiently, and perform quality checks while communicating issues to leadership.

This full-time role reports to a Production Supervisor. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing (or 3+ years without).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years in place of education.
• Computer skills including typing, printing and data entry.
• Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders and prepare tools according to customer specifications.
• Perform quality checks on first articles and ongoing production.
• Record production metrics in the electronic system.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and troubleshoot.
• Support Assistant Machine Operators and assist maintenance when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
