Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Brooklyn Park, MN, seeks a Forklift - Baler Machine Operator I to safely produce quality corrugated products within a small team.

You will lead in your crew, set up orders per specifications, perform quality checks, and communicate issues to maximize machine efficiency. This full-time role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Brooklyn Park facility, with starting pay of $22.77 per hour plus applicable shift differential and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2+ years in manufacturing, or 3+ years with no diploma.
• Experience with computers including data entry and typing.
• Strong math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Experience reading and following detailed work instructions.
• Availability for overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine by setting up orders according to customer specifications.
• Perform quality checks and hold articles to ensure product quality.
• Enter production metrics and monitor rates, quality, and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders to maximize efficiency.
• Assist and guide Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Support with minor repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; follow safety procedures.
• Follow plant safety processes and perform other duties as assigned.
