Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Jeffersonville, Indiana is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move and stage goods for shipping and receiving. You will operate reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment and drive-in racks, load/unload pallets, and perform cycle counts and paperwork with accuracy.

Required 2+ years forklift experience, a valid license or ability to obtain one, and basic computer skills. Must pass background and drug screens and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a forklift operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Powered Industrial Equipment to move products and materials.
• Load, unload, and store products; stack and transport as needed.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels; complete paperwork.
• Follow product rotation procedures and perform cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and keep area inspection-ready.
• Report incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping when needed.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Use equipment to scan product and print labels.Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.Complete cycle count as requiredPerform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucksEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.May perform housekeeping dutiesMiscellaneous tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMinimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
