Job summary

The Clorox Company in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Distribution Front Line Operator for the 6:00 PM–6:30 AM shift to handle raw materials and finished goods under the Distribution Lead. Starting pay is $26.00 per hour plus a $1.35 shift differential, with a 2-2-3 schedule.

You will load/unload, move stock, perform palletizing operations, operate material handling equipment, count inventory, and use SAP and WMS RF devices while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts (standup, sit-down, cherry picker).
• Successful completion of core competency training.
• Exceptional interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to use network computer applications and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload all loads of finished goods and raw materials as assigned.
• Move and position finished product or raw materials within the facility.
• Operate palletizer and de-palletizer and assist to resolve operational problems.
• Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, including batteries and chargers.
• Maintain safety, GMP, and area housekeeping standards.
• Comply with all customer service requirements.
• Perform physical and cycle counts.
• Perform query and entry functions in SAP.
• Familiar with WMS and RF devices.
• Maintain current Clorox forklift certification.
• Train other FTOs.
• Perform any assigned duties as defined by management.

Your role at Clorox:

The purpose of this position is to perform all day-to-day activities, with focus on raw materials and finished goods handling, to achieve the department and business objectives. Day-to-day general direction is provided by the Distribution Lead.

Starting Pay Rate: $26.00/HR + $1.35 Shift Differential

Work Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Shift Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule

• Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on

• Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

In this role, you will:

• Load and unload all loads of finished goods and raw materials as assigned.

• Move and position finished product or raw materials into designated areas within the facility.

• Conduct basic palletizer and de-palletizer operations to include unloading of finished goods, supplying product platforms, and assisting to resolve operational problems.

• Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, to include batteries and chargers.

• Maintain all safety, GMP, and area housekeeping standards.

• Comply with all customer service requirements.

• Perform physical and cycle counts.

• Perform query and entry functions in SAP.

• Familiar with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF devices.

• Maintain current Clorox Forklift Certification.

• Train other FTOs.

• Perform any assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by management
