Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Roanoke, TX is seeking an on-site warehouse worker with forklift certification to drive forklift, perform putaways, and maintain a safe, efficient workspace. Expect night shifts, possible weekend work, and the need to lift up to 80 lbs. and stand long hours.

The role emphasizes accuracy, pace, and adherence to safety rules while maintaining pallet stability and following RF system assignments. This position is with Banner Tom Thumb.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required.
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Available/flexible to work both night and day shifts, including some weekends.
• Must be able to work night shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 80 lbs., and stand for 8–10 hours per day.
• Maintain a steady production pace for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive a forklift.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Perform putaways safely and efficiently.
• Maintain performance standard minimum of 95%.
• Ensure products are stable and correctly stacked on pallets.
• Verify correct aisle/slot locations.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately (e.g., rack damage, spills).
• Handle damaged product to designated drop-off area.
• Follow safety rules.
• Access assignments on the RF computer.
• Drive a pallet jack as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Driving a Forklift.

Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Perform putaways in a safe and efficient manner.

Maintain performance standard minimum of 95%

Ensure the product is stable and correctly stacked on the pallet.

Verify the correct aisle/slot location.

Report any unsafe conditions immediately (ex. Rack damage, liquid spills, etc.).

If you encounter product damage, take the damage to a designated drop off area.

Alert to safety rules.

Look up assignments on the RF computer.

Driving a pallet jack as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants should have skills including but not limited to Forklift Certification.

Must be accurate and detail oriented.

Available / flexible to work both night and day shift, to include some weekend work.
