Cummins Inc. in Morristown, TN is seeking a highly reliable Forging Press Operator for the Weekend Night Shift. You will set up and operate a forging press in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities include adhering to health and safety standards, reporting hazards, and working 12-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday, with a base rate of $20.51–$23.75/hr plus a $1.00 shift premium. 100% on-site role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required or acceptable.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Forging Press Operator to join our Weekend Night Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.

Job Summary:

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

These 5 positions will be for night shift, Weekend B.

These positions will be required to work 12 hours per shift Friday through Sunday.

The Forging Press operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a forging press.

Must be able to stand on their feet 12 hours per shift in a fast-paced production environment.

This position requires all safety policies and procedures to be followed as well as following Cummins company policies.

Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.

Base Rate: $20.51 - $23.75/hr

Shift Premium: $1.00
