Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Missouri is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and adjust a variety of machines to produce high-quality components. You will read drawings and routing sheets, and use calipers and gauges to verify dimensions.

Maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting daily production targets and ensuring quality standards. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for long shifts.

Job Responsibilities

• Operator will be required to set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce a good quality product. Example machines: upsetters, heating units, jib crane, stamping press, trim press, manipulator, forging hammer, forklift, bulldozer press, robotic and CNC controls, and other departmental equipment.
• Processes performed: inspecting, gauging, counting, measuring, identifying, drilling, heating, stamping, upsetting, forging, trimming, forming, bending, sorting, loading, unloading, delivering, and stacking.
• Operator may be required to make visual inspections, record production, record scrap, keep required production records, and other operations as required.
• Operator must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, routing sheets, and use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices as required.
• Operator will be required to furnish own hand tools.
• Operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?

• Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
• Ability to walk, hear, see, read, and have full use of both hands.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist high and waist to floor.
• Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs. continuously.
• Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. intermittently.
