Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment across stamping, forging, heating, and robotic/CNC systems to produce quality products.

You will perform inspections, measure with calipers, read drawings, record production data, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for long shifts is required. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce quality products
  • Inspect, gauge, count, measure, identify, drill, heat, upset, forge, trim, form, bend, sort, load, unload and stack materials
  • Perform visual inspections and maintain production records

Job description

  • Operator will be required to set-up, operate, and to adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce a good quality product. Examples of machines and equipment are, but not limited to, all upsetters, heating units, jib crane, stamping press, trim press, manipulator, forging hammer, forklift, bulldozer press, robotic and CNC controls, and other departmental equipment.
  • Processes performed will be, but not limited to, inspecting, gauging, counting, measuring, identifying, drilling, heating, stamping, upsetting, forging, trimming, forming, bending, sorting, loading, unloading, delivering, and stacking
  • Operator may be required to make visual inspections, record production, record scrap, keep required production records, and other operations as required.
  • Operator must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, routing sheets, and use calipers, gages, and other measuring devices as required.
  • Operator will be required to furnish own hand tools.
  • Operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to walk, hear, see, read, and have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. from floor to waist high and waist to floor.
