Job summary

Anchor Harvey is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve forging and secondary manufacturing processes. The role focuses on process optimization, tooling and equipment support, cost reduction, quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, with experience in manufacturing or forging environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in forging or metal forming environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve forging and secondary manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop, document, and maintain standard work, process flows, work instructions, and routings.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing support to production; troubleshoot process, tooling, and equipment issues.
• Participate in new product introductions, including process development, capacity planning, and launch support.
• Collaborate with tooling, maintenance, and engineering teams on die design, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency, scrap reduction, and cost savings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment justification, installation, and validation.
• Train and support operators and supervisors on new or revised processes.
