Job summary

ELLWOOD Group in Corry, PA is seeking a Forge Operator I to join our team. You will work as a crew member on presses within the Forge, assisting in forgings and forming of various materials.

The role requires rotating shifts, including 24/7 coverage, with overtime as needed. You will report to the Supervisor/Forge Operator II and perform duties from operating tools to maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• High School or better.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnace doors, light furnaces, read furnace instrumentation, assist in forging operation as a floor man.
• Change jaws and dies.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties in forge area.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
