Job summary

United States Attorney's Office (USAO) invites applications for a Litigation Financial Analyst to support the Asset Forfeiture Section and overall mission of USAO. The role focuses on tracing and analyzing financial records from investigations to determine sources of funds and assist in forfeiture processes.

Preference is given to strong Microsoft Excel skills, with a requirement for U.S. citizenship and a 7- or 10-year background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Three years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Trace, review, and analyze financial records to determine source and movement of funds for forfeiture.
• Assist prosecutors by developing legal theories for forfeiture and preparing exhibits and abstracts of financial evidence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
