Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Postgraduate program in Forestry or related field at an accredited college or university.
• Must have completed freshman year by start of internship (May 2027).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in forest measurements, GIS, silviculture, harvest and haul processes.
• Work under an individualized work plan with a sponsor and receive feedback throughout the program.

DescriptionWeyerhaeuser is offering internships to students in Forestry within our Northern Timberlands operation. The summer intern program is designed to give students a valuable learning experience, including exposure to different areas of operations such as forest measurements, GIS, silviculture, harvest and haul, operational planning, and road development.You will work with an individualized work plan and a personal sponsor. You will also be given ample feedback on your performance while having the opportunity to give feedback on ways to enhance the program. Weyerhaeuser offers interns a competitive compensation package.Available locations include: Bingham, Maine and Lancaster, New Hampshire.
