Job summary

Burford’s Construction is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate and maintain forestry gear (Jarraffs, brush cutters, Timberlands) in diverse outdoor sites. You will prioritize safety, follow directions, and contribute to line clearance tasks near electrical lines.

The role requires reading and communicating in English, flexibility to travel, and the stamina for rigorous physical work in varying weather and locations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1 year of experience in equipment operation preferred.
• English reading and communication required; Spanish helpful.
• CDL preferred and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain forestry equipment such as Jarraffs, brush cutters and Timberlands.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks and operations.
• Support team with line clearance activities and tree removal near electrical conductors.
• Know the machine specifics and safety aspects of its operation.
