Job summary

Peterson Cat has a need for a Delivery & Revisit Specialist based at our Medford, OR location. This role supports the Forestry Sales Group by conducting new forestry equipment deliveries, demonstrations and revisits, with a focus on safety and operation.

You will train customer personnel per the Operations and Maintenance Manual (OMM), prepare startup documentation, and perform revisit activities to ensure warranty compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum five years of related heavy equipment experience in forestry or equivalent.”

Responsibilities

• Perform safety, operation and maintenance training for forestry equipment per the OMM.
• Provide training for attachments such as Waratah, SouthStar and Quadco.
• Prepare and manage startup, delivery and revisits documentation and training records.
• Revisit equipment within 250 hours of startup and before warranty ends; coordinate with service.
• Conduct equipment appraisals and report findings to sales and MSR teams.
• Present safety and operator training to large groups of customers in classroom or field settings.
• Drive customer satisfaction through ongoing phone and onsite technical support.
• Ensure proper installation procedures across the D&R team.
• Travel within assigned territory, including overnight travel.
