The Job

Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses. Duties include prioritizing loads, hand-washing certain items, operating the dishwasher, and organizing clean items for drying and storage. Successful candidates are team-oriented, adaptable, and effective communicators in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain sanitary conditions of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Keep the work environment clean and sanitary.
  • Operate the dishwashing machine safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper loading of soap and rinse chemicals.
  • Remove damaged or broken dishes and utensils from service.
  • Assist in stocking delivered food and non-food items.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers.
  • Support other functions such as prep work, trash removal, cleaning work areas, and covering for staff absences.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing to work mornings, nights, and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle cases, pans, utensils, and plates on various shelves.
  • Work in hot, damp environments and tight spaces.

  • Reports To: Kitchen Manager
  • Compensation: $21 per hour
  • Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly
  • Job Schedule: Varies; Taproom open for dinner Tues - Thurs, lunch and dinner Fri - Sun
