Job summary

Alpine Land Information Services is looking for two Foresters to join our forest inventory operation in Redding, California. The role involves supervising forest inventory crews and checking cruising of fixed radius plots during plantation stands. Candidates should be quick learners of new technology and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred candidates will be eligible for the RPF exam within 3 years. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000, with additional benefits including paid time off, holidays, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid Drivers’ License and insurable driving record.
• Willingness to re-locate for the position.
• Must be comfortable being away from home for 5 days at a time.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Alpine is looking for two Foresters to add to our forest inventory operation. The primary roles would be supervision of forest inventory crew and or check cruising of fixed radius plots in plantation stands. Alpine foresters have diverse roles that range from Long Term Planning, Field Data Collection, Carbon Offset and even Software Development. The successful candidate will be quick to learn new technology, possess excellent problem-solving skills and be intellectually curious. Preferred candidates will be eligible for the RPF exam in 3 years. Lets start the conversation!
