Job summary

Campbell Global is seeking a Forester to supervise forest management activities as part of the Asset & Wealth Management team. You will plan and oversee silviculture, harvesting, and land use projects, ensuring fiduciary and environmental standards are met.

The role requires a forestry degree and at least 2 years of experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work outdoors in challenging terrain. GIS experience and licensing may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry or related field with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work outdoors on rough terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contract with third parties for harvesting, silviculture, and road work including bid analysis and contract execution.
• Implement policies and guidelines to ensure high quality while managing costs.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and standards.
• Utilize GIS to update maps for stand treatments, boundaries, and stream locations.
• Monitor expenditures and participate in budgeting and forward-looking planning.
• Represent Campbell Global with outside companies, contractors, and agencies.
• Support risk management reporting and client commitments in timberland investments.
