Austin Community College is seeking applicants for a position supporting the Special Uses Recreation Department. Responsibilities include conducting inspections for special use permits and concessionaire campgrounds, as well as documenting findings and marking hazardous trees. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have experience operating a full-size 4x4 truck on unpaved roads.

This position offers a living allowance of $450 per week and a travel allowance of $1,100, with potential housing provided if available. Additional training in bear safety and defensive driving is included.

Qualifications

• Ability to get to duty station each day.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in operating a full-size 4x4 truck on unpaved roads.
• Ability to navigate independently using a map.
• Familiarity with hand/mechanical tools (shovels, rakes, drills, saw, etc.).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the Special Uses Recreation Department.
• Conduct special use permit inspections.
• Perform concessionaire campground inspections.
• Document findings with photographs.
• Mark hazardous trees.
• Receive in-person training for listed duties.
