Job summary

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking a Manager of Forest Productivity and Optimization in Yulee, FL. This role leads efficiency improvements, data-driven decisions, and field trials translating research into practice across forestry operations.

You will work on process optimization, collaboration with researchers, and development of best practices, while ensuring safety and sustainability in all activities. Eligible for hybrid arrangements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Forest Management, or related field.
• Master of Science in Forestry or related discipline preferred.
• Strong GIS skills and data analytics experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and resource allocation.
• Structure and manage continuous improvement projects across forestry operations.
• Design and implement field trials to evaluate technologies and silvicultural practices.
• Collaborate with university and industry cooperatives to maximize benefits.
• Collect and analyze forestry data to guide decision-making and benchmarks.
• Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and quarterly reporting.
• Act as a technical advisor to silviculture managers and field foresters.
