Job summary

Euroforest Ireland Ltd is seeking a Forest Manager for the North East to oversee professional forest management, servicing our client base and supervising harvesting and transport operations. You will review licences and grants and advise owners on best practices to maximise returns.

The role requires GIS competence, strong planning, and the ability to work independently with excellent communications. Salary commensurate with experience; phone, laptop and transport are provided.

  • Desirable: QQI Level 7/8 forestry qualification or equivalent.
  • Desirable: knowledge of Forest Service schemes and paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting on progress at weekly team meetings
  • Marketing – servicing supply contracts to customers
  • Costing & pricing of harvesting & management operations
  • Maintaining industry standards on health and safety and environmental management

  • A knowledge or experience of harvesting and marketing of timber
Remuneration Salary commensurate with experience, plus phone, laptop and transport.
