Job summary

California Air Resources Board seeks a Forest Offset Project Specialist to support the Cap-and-Invest program. The role focuses on implementing the U.S Forest Compliance Offset Protocol, evaluating forest offset projects, and assisting operators with compliance and verification.

The selected candidate will develop technical and statistical tools for forest carbon quantification, monitoring, and reporting, and contribute to updates of the protocol and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forestry practices and forest carbon offset protocols.
• Experience with greenhouse gas accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities
