Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Forescout Administrator to support Comply to Connect for US Marine Corps networks. The role is hybrid, with work at Quantico, VA as needed.

You will configure and maintain NAC solutions, monitor health, and produce management briefings while ensuring RMF controls and IAVM requirements are met.

Strong DoD experience, FSCA/FSCE, and a US citizenship are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA) or FSCE certification required.
• Secret/SSBI clearance required prior to start.
• U.S. citizenship required by contract.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• 4+ years in a DoD environment with NAC/security focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide network admin support and documentation for Comply to Connect across USMC networks.
• Configure, deploy, operate, and maintain C2C related systems and controls.
• Monitor network health, alerts, and performance; optimize stability and reliability.
• Produce program status reports for management and government oversight.
• Maintain RMF ATO artifacts and respond to findings from DISA STIGs.
• Collaborate with teams on enterprise network architecture and security.

Everforth ECS is seeking a Forescout Administrator to work in Quantico, VA (Hybrid).

We are currently seeking a talented Forescout Administrator to join our team. This role will provide network administrator support and documentation to create a healthy security posture implementing Comply-To-Connect (C2C) protocols for the US Marine Corps. In this role, you will focus on configuration, integration, deployment, operations and maintenance. The selected candidate must be well versed in architectural best practices and applying them across a breadth of technologies to solve an organizational problem. You should be capable of articulating your views on the future development of technology to varying audiences, and you should understand the interaction between infrastructure and solution architecture.

• This position is mostly remote, but will require meetings and/or work at the customer site on Quantico
• Provide network administration and configuration support for Comply to Connect on multiple US Marine Corps networks and classification domains
• Establish and maintain network analysis and monitoring tools including fine-tuning, health reporting and alerting
• Make recommendations to optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of networking infrastructure
• Contribute to maintaining the C2C ATO to include reviewing, delivering and updating A&A documentation required for the system as defined by RMF policy and MCSC RMF process guide. (e.g., Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Management, Change Management, RMF controls (implemented and inherited)).
• Identify and provide technical subject matter expertise on remediation and mitigation of all open findings from DISA STIGs
• Provide program status reports and briefings to internal management, senior leadership and government oversight officials
• Understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and strong knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networks to include ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade switches
• Advanced Administrator's level of understanding of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX) is a plus
• Computer Networking Systems Administrator's level Knowledge of all protocol layers
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking environments
• Experience installing, implementing and debugging network access control security solutions
• Understating of programming languages: C, Java, and Perl
• This is a 'hands-on' position that requires someone who is capable of multi-tasking. It requires an individual with a service-oriented mentality that can focus and take ownership of assignments/issues and manage/resolve those issues.
• Work well in a team oriented environment and be able to self-manage their tasks to ensure success
• Communicate up and down within the organization; prepare detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports. Applicants must be organized with an eye for detail.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000

Required Skills

• Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA) or Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE)
• Minimum Secret/SSBI clearance is required prior to start date.
• Must be US Citizen per contract

• 4+ yrs. experience working in a DOD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military), preferable USMC
• Experience with Network Access Controls
• Experience with projects across development life-cycles (analysis through implementation)
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing requirements
• Have networking, telecom, or application development, client/server, network and internet/web development experience.
• The ability to apply IT industry standards to secure network environment
• Experience in creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution, ability to manage and document system configurations
• Must be proficient with common desktop programs such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Good verbal and written communications skills

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of MCEN-N, MCEN-S, MCCS and MCRC networks
• Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science related field
• CCNA, CCNP certifcations
• TS/SCI preferred
• ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification
• Experience with the following: Windows, McAfee, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), ACAS
