Job summary

UG2 seeks a Foreperson to supervise inspection, maintenance, and restoration of facility equipment under supervision. This role requires mechanical knowledge, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service with strict safety compliance.

The Foreperson will assist technicians with diagnostics, respond promptly to client requests, and ensure PPE and safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in janitorial or facility services.
• Strong knowledge of facility equipment used in janitorial services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all situations.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and enforce safety standards.

Job description

The Foreperson, under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for inspection, maintenance and restoration of equipment at a facility. This role requires strong knowledge of mechanical skills and equipment and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional customer service skills and adherence to safety regulations are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and facility stakeholders.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics as needed in repair, set-up, and warranty repair of equipment.
• Respond to facility and client requests promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety protocols and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure safety and security awareness, including emergency preparedness and equipment handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
