The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreperson for the Delmarva Division in Dagsboro, DE. This role directs crew activities on highways, pipelines, and other projects, ensuring safety and efficient site operations.

You will read blueprints, supervise day-to-day tasks, and manage costs while maintaining strong client communication and adherence to job schedules. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
• Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mathematical skills including probablitiy and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Problem solving
• Basic computer skills including internet, email, and the use of digital cameras for work documentation
• Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

• Schedules materials, equipment, and work for the crew.
• Analyze crew SIP's to create site SIP's.
• Obtains quantities from crews and prepare for billing process with PM.
• Analyzes cost reports for production adjustments.
• Accurately code and control onsite costs.
• Conducts site meetings.
• Attend E&S meetings and Job Turnover meetings.
• Communicates goals and purposes effectively.
• Lead and demonstrate by example.
• Influences and enforces company values.
• Recognizes misalignments with company values and culture and ensures compliance.
• Understands and anticipates customer's needs.
• Understands business practices within the organization.
• Understands the importance of repeat business.
• Communicates with customer representatives and represents the Company professionally.
• Other duties as assigned
