Job summary

Dean Dorton invites motivated undergraduates to join our summer internship, designed to build the experience you want. At its core, you’ll work on real client engagements and gain hands-on exposure in forensic accounting, business valuation, and investigations.

You'll receive mentoring from seasoned professionals, training on industry tools, and university credit where approved. Apply early; the program runs June–August 2027 with 32–40 hours per week, on-site in Lexington, Louisville, and Ft.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Apply and expand on your classroom knowledge in real client engagements
• Assist with financial investigations, litigation support, and business valuation projects
• Participate in specialized training on forensic accounting tools, methodologies, and valuation techniques
