Responsibilities

We are seeking a Forensics, Litigation, Valuations Service Manager to join our growing valuation practice. You will work with a talented team on high-profile engagements, delivering high-quality analysis and advice across the business lifecycle, from acquisition to exit. You will develop expertise in complex valuation and financial consulting skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial information, accounting records, and tax returns.
  • Assisting with litigation discovery, document requests, and witness preparation.
  • Performing valuation methods and forensic accounting analysis.
  • Preparing market, industry, and competitive assessments.
  • Leading investigations related to asset misappropriation, fraud, shareholder disputes, etc.
  • Analyzing fraudulent transactions, complex transactions, and financial statements.
  • Conducting damage loss analyses for individuals and businesses.
  • Completing business valuations for transactions, disputes, and planning.
  • Preparing detailed reports supporting conclusions.
  • Building relationships with professionals and clients.
  • Managing client relationships to exceed expectations.
  • Overseeing project fundamentals like realization, utilization, and expenses.
  • Participating in marketing and thought leadership.
  • Mentoring staff and developing leadership skills.
  • Integrating Baker Tilly’s strategy into work.
  • Conducting industry and market research.
  • Developing and reviewing valuation models.
  • Performing enterprise and intangible asset valuations.
  • Leading engagement teams and communicating with clients.
  • Developing internal and external relationships for business growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or MSc Finance preferred.
  • At least six (6) years in business valuation services.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFF, CFE, ABV, CVA, CFA, or MAFF.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills and client relationship building.
  • Ability for light travel.

The compensation range is $111,170 to $240,850, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
