Job summary

DLA, LLC is seeking an Associate to join our Forensic, Valuation & Litigation Support team in New Jersey. This role offers hands-on exposure to forensic accounting engagements, valuation analyses, and litigation support projects across diverse industries.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1+ year of related experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers hybrid work and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in forensic accounting, business valuation, or litigation support.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation engagements with financial analysis.
• Analyze financial statements, ledgers, transactions, and supporting docs for trends and issues.
• Prepare financial models, valuation schedules, damages analyses, and related calculations.
• Conduct industry and market research to support valuation assumptions.
• Assist with investigations including asset tracing and document review.
• Produce clear workpapers documenting analyses and conclusions.
• Contribute to client-ready deliverables such as reports, schedules, and exhibits.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality service.
