Job description

Providing Solutions to the Energy & Infrastructure Industries

Here at Talisman Advisory Partners, we are partnered with a specialized forensic engineering business who focus on examining structural failures, construction defects, storm or fire damage, and more. They work across all types of structures from Bridges to Commercial Buildings and all types of materials from steel to wood.

Your Role
  • Investigate the root causes of structural failures, foundation settlement, roof damage, water intrusion, and post-event building issues
  • Conduct field inspections, gather evidence, and document conditions with precision
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and, where needed, collaborate with legal teams as an expert witness
  • Balance field work and analysis (roughly 40/60) while enjoying flexibility in scheduling

You will work remotely but if available you can choose to work from an office, with on-site inspections as required.

Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
  • Active P.E. license in your state (additional state licenses preferred)
  • NCEES certification is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and investigative curiosity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and applicable codes
